UPDATE Recycling Pickup Moving Forward From 12/10/2022 Thursday (Usual) Saturday (Emergency)

Dear Residents,

By now, you are aware that most times the recycling truck malfunctions, we are able to arrange emergency pickups for Saturday. Please understand that if we do not pick up on Thursday that Saturday will be the day unless something changes. Then, we will post that change. In the past, we have updated the website very late, waiting for the Saturday emergency pickup approval. Please accept this notice that unless notified, the back up day is Saturday moving forward.

We do expect to take delivery on our new recycling truck in the spring. But thinking proactively Borough Council approved that leadership post the services for outsourcing to see if we can obtain a bid that is at our below our costs to perform the services. We will have those bids for action at our Tuesday, December 27th meeting in hopes to end this experience!
