Borough of South Coatesville Seeking Borough Council
Member

The Borough of South Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, is seeking
interested and qualified residents to fill a vacancy on Borough Council.

This is an opportunity to serve your community, help shape the future of our Borough,
and participate in local decision-making on matters that affect our residents and
neighborhoods.

Term of Appointment
The individual appointed to this position will serve the remainder of the unexpired term,
which concludes on December 31, 2027.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for appointment to the vacant Borough Council seat, applicants must
meet the following requirements under Pennsylvania law:

Residency: Must have continuously resided within the Borough of South
Coatesville for at least one year immediately prior to appointment.

Registered Voter: Must be a registered elector of the Borough.

Commitment to Public Service: Must be willing to serve the community and
participate in Borough Council responsibilities, including attending meetings and
serving on committees.
